( for people who don't like romance but want to participate in the fun ) Hey, everyone! Welcome to Pages Of Perfiction, a book blog where I discuss YA reads in this little corner of the internet. I know it's been eight days since Valentine's Day, but whatever. It's still February, so it's fine, right? Most Valentine's Day tags are about the best love stories, but in this one, we'll be talking about falling in love with books from all kinds of genres. I don't like romance novels that much, but I still wanted to participate in the February fun. This led to the creation of this tag. This is the first tag that I've made, and I hope you enjoy it! 1. First Love Share a book that introduced you to a genre you now love. How did it capture your heart? I'm never going to forget the very first YA fantasy book I ever read. Introduction Happy holidays, and welcome back to Pages of Perfiction! This time of the year always has such a vibe. Winter break just started, and I'm leaving for a week-long trip tomorrow! I can't wait. I should be packing right now, because I'm only halfway done, but whatever. Besides, what better way to celebrate the season than another book tag? Today, I'm going to be trying out the Naughty or Nice book tag. I've done one book tag before ( the 20 Questions book tag , back at the start of my blogging journey), so I can't wait to get into this post.  I found out about this tag via AceReader (who has an amazing site, go check it out), but some other great bloggers who've done this tag include MehganReads , Read Bake Create , and The Strawberry Post . 1. Received an ARC and not reviewed it   Guess what? This has never happened to me! I just started asking for ARCs a couple of months ago, so I still think of them as an obligation/honor and only request one b...

Image
Hi, everyone! This is my first book tag so I’m not entirely sure if I did this right… technically, nobody tagged me, but whatever. This book tag is the one with 20 classic questions. It’s been floating around the book blogger community for a while, and I’m really excited to try this out.  What is a book tag? A book tag is a set of questions organized by books, book genres or something else to do with reading. For example, there is a realistic fiction book tag and an unpopular opinions book tag. This book tag contains 20 basic questions, and is a common starter tag so you can get to know me. Without further ado, let's get started! The 20 Questions book tag 1. How many books are too many books in a series? Um, there’s no such thing, obviously. One of my favorite book series is contains 11 books and counting. Of course, there are series that I thought were stretched out too much, and could’ve been condensed (looking at you, Harry Potter). But if the novels are well written, I love a g...
